I have a bunch of food porn pix from our dinner there a few months ago (it was their summer menu so some dishes might have changed)

please tell me if putting up multiple pix is considered spamming ;)
it's my first post so please feel free to correct etiquette or whatnot.

first up:

Roasted Totonka (as per previous posters) it's a bit dark...sorry

I went back to Sweetgrass last night with my mom.. i had talked about it to her and she wanted to try it.

Once again, it was a very good experience.. the service was great and the food was delicious.

I ordered the "soup du jour" for the entrée.. it was a sort of Mushroom stew. It was quite good. The bread that was served was just great though.. very fresh.. as if it just came out of the oven.

For the main course, i got the Roasted Tatonka (Buffalo) Rib eye with mashed horseradish. Very good and cooked as i requested it. My mom had ordered the Brome Lake Duck breast and i tasted it and it was very good also.

I know this is my second review for the same restaurant, but i thought i'd point out repeated good experiences at this restaurant. :)

I've only been there twice, but it was GREAT both times. First time i had corn chowder (excellent) and the caribou as the main dish, and second time i had the Smoked Red deer. I'm totally biased because i just LOVE smoked food, but this was particularly excellent.

Service was very good also.

The Creme Brulee at Sweetgrass has Rosemary in it which provides a unique twist to the usual delightful flavour. Astounding.
