Ottawa Foodies

Profile pic was taken on our 2010 vacation down south. We did a walk in at Lady and Son's Restaurant in Savannah Georgia. Waited 5 minutes and got in that Paula Dean makes the best fried chicken in the world.

I',m a big fan of Rick Bayless and Steven Raichlen and Daisy Martinez. Love to cook, my favorites being Mexican,Indian, Mid Eastern, Italian. Avid BBQer the big stuff Brisket, Pork shoulder. Pet peeve is bad pizza in Ottawa seems anyone with a pizza oven thinks they can make pizza with their brothers or cousins recipes which were bad to begin with tainting pizza. I love to travel and base travel pans on history and good restaurants in the area. If people would get out of Ottawa more they would realize what truly good food is and base reviews on that instead of giving restaurants here 7 and 8 out of 10 when they really deserve a 4 or 5.
