Anyone interested in Fresh-picked Morels - let me know. I have some for sale. I should have all my paper work complete to sell at the Ottawa Byward Market for next week - but I have these for sale NOW as well as fiddleheads, dandelion greens, lamb's quarters, wild garlic (leeks)...more

I'll let you sell off my front step beside the Parkdale Market if you give me some. No, I'm not kidding :-)

I've never had them before
So I'm interested. Are they good with BBQ steaks?

Yes, they certainly are!

i'm also quite interested. I really think you ought to set up a stand at Zym's place.

I don't think you guys/girls would be interested in any of that "fungi" buzz. You best just drop them at my door, no questions asked.....
Btw. I accept any form of morel. pickle, dry, sauteed and frozen, fresh, battered etc... :)
no purchase necessary, batteries not included....;)

For me, the earthiness of morels goes really well with:

- the sweetness of lobster
- the grassiness of asparagus
- the delicate nature of veal

Each one of those four things signals spring for me, and there they are on your plate!

That having been said, morel + steak + a bottle of Pinot = heaven.
