I haven't been here for a while. I came with co workers for a work lunch this past week. The beer selection seems to be the same. The food was ok. I had the philly cheese steak sandwich with a side of Caesar salad. The portion was small. The sandwich was ok but it needed to be dipped in the "jus". A small layer of sauce on the bread would have made it tastier.

The one quality of the restaurant is its location and very nice view of the Bank of Canada building and courtyard.

Sadly, I'm not surprised to hear about the lack of quality in the food. Coming from Montreal, I was never impressed with the one in Montreal and found it boring, so was not "happy" that one was opening here in Ottawa. Luckily for them, the spot they picked was great and I would def go for a beer, but not food.

Our friend had the chicken quesadilla and this is where things really got bad. The driest stale offering of the night. The tortilla was cracker crust like, with dry stale chicken breast cubes and a few onion dice along with a dusting of cheese. No seasoning no flavors just bland. The jarred salsa was even of poor quality. It fell apart as it was being eaten. Most of that meal was left on the plate. Her upgrade from frozen fries to bad poutine was abandoned on her plate as well due to a strong smell of cigarettes coming from the dish. Our server never asked why most of the food was left on our plates. Sadly prices were not cheap either for this pre made poor quality food shipped from Montreal each day. Pictured is cigarette smelling poutine and desert dry quesadilla.

A new The 3 Brewers has opened in Kanata. We were lassoed into trying this place by another couple who were famished on a Sunday night at 5:30pm. The place was busy when we got there and were told it was a 30 minute wait. Then all of a sudden we were seated. This is some of the poorest quality food we have eaten in a pub lately rivalling our Lodge visit. After being told they were out of fish and chips it was hard to decide on another option since nothing really looked that appealing. I just ordered their IPA and a poutine. I got off lucky the IPA was on the light side but had a bit of body as opposed to the blond my buddy had that was very light with no crispness or real flavors. My poutine consisted of bagged frozen fries, cold cheese curds and generic canned gravy. I left most of it there.

Echo the comments on the room/decor here. Like the open feel with lots of light.

The drink specials here are aggressively priced - $2.50 during lunches for a generous half pint of a drinkable blonde. They also have "Whiskey Wednesdays" with offerings between $2.50-$3.50 after 3pm (iirc this included a Glenmorangie and Bowmore, if that's your thing).

This is a large chain so there's definitely a bit of that "chain restaurant feel" to the menu/food. I had a flammekueche with tomato & pesto. Very thin cracker like crust which almost reminded me of a tortilla...so the whole thing came off as very quesadilla-ish. Not much structural integrity in this 'za - next time I would ask to have it well done. Have never been to Alsace so I can't speak to the authenticity of the dish. In any event, it went well with a few beers and I would likely order one again. Food was hit or miss based others reviews at the table (burgers, wraps, salads, etc).

Friendly, quick service from cute waitresses ("Welcome to 3 Brewers, my name is X and I'll be your waitress today!").

Nice spot. Lots of light with the huge glass walls all around, very airy and comfortable. Huge, multi-panel TV at the bar.

Good peer. I had their new amber, since they were out of the double-medal-winning dark. The seasonal dark they had as an alternate is 9% and I wimped out.

The food is good, not great. My pulled pork was decent, of the stringy bathing in sweet sauce variety, albeit on a nice ciabatta, with Swiss. Good creamy, sweet cole slaw. Frozen fries unfortunately, but at least not re-fried, and hot.

You wanna pour the 3-Brewers packet of aioli in the sandwich. Excellent mayo. There's a bit of grainy mustard in there, too. It's also very good for the fries.

My girlfriend had an open face goat cheese something sandwich on a large miche slice. She loved it, I couldn't confirm as I don't do goat cheese, but I definitely could smell it.

Excellent, fast service.

Sandwich plates are typically in the $13 range. Next visit, I'll try their specialty, flammekueche aka Alsatian pizza.

With free weekend parking at World Exchange Plaza, a good spot for lunch during Winterlude. Will be back soon, try other mains, and some apps and dessert.

This is going to be my new afterwork Friday hangouts!

5/5 for the location and décor. It's well located, with free parking after 5 pm and it's expansive and well decorated.

3/5 for the food. It was lukewarm. I always had hot food at my visits to other Les 3 Brasseurs in Québec. I had the Provencale flatbread (i won't attempt to say the belgian word! ). It was good. My friends had the one with bacon and it was lukewarm as well. It could have been that we were a bigger table so they had some difficulty coordinating all the food coming at the same time. Not a big deal, i'll go back again. The chicken with BBQ sauce is my favourite, by the way, based on my experience at other locations.

4/5 for the beer. Well made, good selection and at a decent price. I have been disappointed over the increasing hike in the cost of a pint at many of the local pubs! This place serves its own quality brews and it's cheaper than all the competitors in the downtown core!

Staff was very friendly as well.
