Pho Mile [General]

2010 Nov 29
We just finished a fairly comprehensive review and ranking of ALL of Chinatown's Pho restaurants on "Pho Mile" with visits to 18 places. We're in the middle of publishing detailed reviews at our food blog. We won't publish here because of the considerable volume, but feel free to visit if you are interested.

Thanks for your amazing post(s)!!! I will definitely be using it as a reminder to explore more in the relm of Pho... Oh and I too adore the Northern Han :)

I'm having problems with your commenting feature, it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else having that problem? Overall, good reviews! I love Northern Han, it's a favourite and I don't know many people who are easily convinced to eat there due to the atmosphere & obvious language barrier issues. Who cares, the food is amazing! New pho bo is an interesting place, good flavours and really fresh, I hope they stay in business as that location seems to change with the seasons.

That's odd. Our testing shows it to work fine. It does, however pop up a window. I'm wondering if having pop-up blocking set to "on" for the site is causing the problem.

The pop-up blocking seems to be the problem, I just tried in Chromium and it works fine, sorry to derail the thread but I really enjoyed your writeup! Try out Huong's!

i wasn't able to post a comment on the blog, but for Northern Han, one of the bottles on your table would have been black vinegar. Fantastic to dip your dumplings in. Also on the table would be white pepper, soy sauce & chili oil. My combination is vinegar and chili oil. Thanks for the fantastic write up.

Black vinegar? That *would* be good. Had assumed it was soy. Thanks for the info and thanks for reading :)
