Regarding your comments about Bridgehead: The Bank & Slater store has had a synesso for quite some time (at least since December of 2008). They don't sprinkle cinnamon on their drinks because there's cinnamon (and cocoa and vanilla sugar and nutmeg) at the condiment stand. Lattes don't automatically get cinnamon on top.
Also, if you're looking to compare Starbucks to Bridgehead, it's a bit of an apples to oranges comparison. However, I'd like to point out that Starbucks steams its beverages to 180 consistently. Anything between 140 and 160 is considered unsafe.
