Completely agree with you regarding Whalesbone. I used to love the place but since the new chef took over I find the tastes presented in the mains and apps terribly matched. The dishes are far too precious and trend driven for me. Seared tuna with foie gras AND mayo? No thanks. Still a great place for drinks and oysters.
