Christmas Meals for the Needy [General]

2012 Dec 17
Let's make a thread to list places you can go either to take advantage of a free Christmas meal, or to help out with those preparing them.

Essence Catering (behind the old firehall on Parkdale near Wellington) this year is hoping to provide full meals for 15 to 20 families in need, and is looking for help on the 21st and 22nd to prepare them.

They will also accept donations of food - please contact them for details. They already have the turkeys, and The Cake Shop is providing the deserts.

Essence Catering is at it again this year cooking up a whole lot of turkey dinners for the needy. And this year Grilling Gourmet is over there helping out - he's got his smoking trailer and currently there are 14 turkeys on there smoking - and that is just the first batch!

Well done guys!
