Breadmakers [General]

Some wedding gifts are being tossed !
Got my Japanese one, on the curbside, on garbage day.
Had to find online info to get the basic ingredient ratios and operating instructions.
Toaster oven ... same thing as bread maker. No biggie for me to re-use.
I guess a lot of people are more like my mom: "Ewww, I can't use that. Somebody already had their food in it.

Captain Caper has the right idea - go for used because bread machines are the sort of thing that a lot of people buy or get gifted to them but then they tire of them quickly. A friend of mine specializes in really cheap bread makers like 5 or 10 bucks at yard sales, and he always keeps a spare on hand just in case. But he makes bread in several times a week, and they typically last for years.
