Anytime I move, I spend about six months poking around groceries looking for the things I used to take for granted but can't find easily anymore. One of these is Izze sodas. They're from Boulder, Colorado, and they're made with juice and no corns syrup/fructose etc. They come in flavors like clementine, pear, lemon, grapefruit and blackberry, and they're fantastic.

I haven't seen them around much, but I was in the Quickie mart on Mann Ave in Sandy Hill and lo and behold they had a small section of cooler space set aside for my beloved Izzes. It's the only place I've seen them so far. If you decide to try them, leave some for me. I'll probably ask the guy to order me a case to keep at the house.

I've bought them from Bulk Barn as well as from Shopper's. I'm pretty sure it's also sold at a few markets along Elgin.

Thanks for the pointers. I was in Bulk Barn a few days ago but must have overlooked them. I may have been hypnotized by vats of gummy worms.

If you're out in Chelsea, they are selling them at the Freshmart. I bought a few cartons last week, I forget the price but there were tons of them. Pear, blackberry and Grapefruit I know they have for sure.

I am pretty sure I saw some at my local IGA or Loblaws (in Quebec that is), but I am not 100% sure. But I would put my money on Loblaws over here in Aylmer. I'll double check that fact next time I go.

I've purchased then at Starbucks in the US so they might be available there in Canada as well.

I have been looking at getting good quality soda to replicate a "refresher" dish I had in a restaurant recently. I had come across alot of good things said about Jones Soda company. How would people say Jones' compare with Izzes? Do people know where Jones' Soda is available? I must confess I do not recall having tried either but I am now anxious too.

The Wheat Berry on Main St (by the Green Door) has Izze.
