Need I say more?

That's smokin!

You used to be vegetarian right? Now a born-again omnivore. LOL ;-)

Born again meat-a-vore!

2007 Jul 3
That’s a lot of food. I like the modification to your cooking grate.

"Born again meat-a-vore!"

I must be really sleepy this morning, but that made me laugh. :D

As for the modification - the grill on top is from an old microwave/convection oven that my wife's parents gave us. It is long since dead but we saved these grills and some other bits and pieces. Fits perfectly! I'm already planning some mods where I can stack 'em up higher by making a collar that goes between the lid and the body :-)

As for the amount of food - it was our annual Canada Day BBQ so there were a lot of mouths to feed :-)

Mmmmmm... Reminds me of that BBQ cook off I went to. That fatty pork in the back looks sooo good. And speaking of BBQ s, well, technically, speaking of grills, my Dad just bought a brand new Weber Genesis EP 310. I can now smoke things in it! On our old grill, I was lucky if I could get the grates hot enough to sear a steak.

But yeah, looks really tasty zymurgist!

By the way, the word zymurgy, that's the science of beer brewing/fermentation, right?

2007 Jul 4
Yes, the science of fermentation.

Oh, and the Chicken got wrapped in foil with some fresh herbs from the garden, and finished off for an hour or so on the grill.
