Not sure if there was a chat about this or not, but I had to share a photo of these - picked on Saturday near Perth, gorgeous! Going to process them tonight to preserve them. Delicious!

Nice pic Jojo - I have a spot where... well... I have almost unlimited supply of ramps! If only the same could be said about morels, damned weather has been too cold lately! But yes, to those looking for ramps, seek out Trillium flowers as ramps tend to grow in the same conditions/soil as these flowers.

Excellent tip - thanks! Happy hunting.

OK, I have a jar of these that my coworker gave me - no idea what best to do with them. Suggestions?

Pickled? Try them on burgers.

Yeah, pickled - good idea! I may just try them like that too. I've never had them before and want to be sure I'll be able to use them up fast enough once opened.

I forget if I asked this: how long will they last pickled? I have a jar left over from last year, and I'm scared that I've waited too long to try them and they'll be all mushy and stuff.

My favourite thing to do with the fresh stuff I bought this year was to slice them into rounds and fry them with bacon. Had it with salmon. Deeeeeelish.
