ottawa foodies

Hi, I've just moved back to Ottawa and I'm dying for a nice brunch of crepes. I can't seem to find a creperie anywhere. Does anyone know where I can satisfy my crepes jones? Help!

LOL, sometimes a Newbie brings about a good thing accidently... ok, so I knew how to search for crepes... but I never have. (Infact there are probably a large quantity of Food Item Entries on this site that I am still to come across). So now I find out about all these great places to get Crepes in and around Ottawa (not to mention the food porn, like CaptainC's photo above)... and I find myself craving a crepe, something I haven't had in a really really long time.

I second Pure Gelato, and if you want to travel out to Carp, on Saturday at the Farmer's Market they have a crepe vendor where you can get sweet & savory crepes. Yum.

There's a crepe place in Stittsville. The owner/cook is from France and I've found her to be friendly and good conversation.

BakingBombshell - Have you been? I checked the vendor in question, Authentic French Crepes Authentic French Crepes page and the only person that has done a review is Fat Cat. I never seem to think of this place, and of course it isn't well known, I need to make a point to go there.

I go to Authentic French Crepes in Stittsville occasionally. Both sweet and savoury crepes are delicious as are the daily soups. Quite reasonably priced and lots to choose from--usually$7--$9 for a lunch special.
