I finally got around to eating here the other day, after having lived around the corner for almost 6 months now.
They started us off with tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was very good, great success.
I ordered the burrito and asked for it to be made vegetarian, which apparently meant it was to be filled with refried beans, served with a side of re-fried beans. Too many refried beans! I felt like I was becoming delirious with beans halfway through the meal. However, the red sauce that was served on top of the burrito was one of the best sauces I have ever tasted; I wanted to take home buckets of it. It almost tasted like a mole sauce.. I couldn't quite figure out the spices but suffice it to say it was delicious.
My friend had the taco salad with chicken on top which he said was a little dry, but ate it all anyways. It looked pretty.
I'd probably go back, as they have a vegetarian chili on their menu for 6 bucks a bowl (should have gone with that). Even if they didn't, I might go back just for that red sauce alone. Mmmm.
