First time at the New Rideau Restaurant. I had been there once before, at least 8 years ago (previous owners). What a change in the décor! Very nice! We were a party of 14 (9 adults, 5 kids). We had a reservation which was great as the restaurant was very busy. We all ordered off the brunch menu. The food was great! Nice selection, something for everyone. Coffee and getting replacement cream etc was a little slow but they were busy. Looks like some kitchen staff came out to lend a hand at one point. Only con: a guest at my table thought the toast tasted garlicky but I don`t think it was brought up to the server. Not sure as I ordered eggs benedict. Kinda weird. Will definitely return and can't wait to try their other menus
