We played a gig at this cafe a few months ago. The room is devided into two rooms. The entrance has some local products for sale and the dessert display. the main dining area had local artist works on the wall. The hosts where kind of quiet and very down to earth. I took a glance in the kitchen and was amazed at the cleanliness and professional appearance it had. Bathrooms were very clean.
We were in a bit of a hurry to order when we got there cause we were running a little late. So sadly, I didn't have the time to review the menu in detail before I ordered. My partner got the chicken pot pie, so i just decided to go with that. i ended up being very happy with my choice. The pastry was so good. Kind of thick and flacky. The filling was just the right consistency. And it was freezing outside so the warm, rich and comforting pie was perfect. The roasted potatoes where awesome after I added a bit more salt.
