Excellent lamb!

Their beef is not certified organic because that is nearly impossible to do for grass-fed beef. That said, they do adhere to organic principles, meaning their product is superior to organic grain-fed beef. :-)

We picked up a couple of small strip loin steaks at the Heartland booth in the Carp Farmers Market. We were totally blown away by the great flavour and texture of these steaks! Given the health benefits of grass fed beef there's no good reason to go back to the supermarket stuff. Sure, grass fed costs an arm and a leg, but I'd rather eat 1/3 less of this beef for the same price as the other stuff.

We're seriously considering buying a deep freezer just so we can order a quarter from them!

Amazing grassfed beef. We buy one of their packages twice a year and fill up our tiny freezer. Such nice people too!
