Anyone no where I can find koji rice or chinese yeast balls in Ottawa ?
A search here on Ottawa foodies for koji led me here ... a dead end.

But a search for yeast balls looks more fruitful.

Looks like the yeast balls contain more (fungi and yeasts etc) than koji rice ... but I'm not sure.
Are the yeast balls a direct substitute for koji rice ? (One being Japanese and the other Chinese)
... and are there other stores that have the yeast balls other than Green Fresh ?
