hot big black radishes [Food/Vendor]

2015 Aug 7
Not sure why exactly but decided to plant a variety pack of radishes. They are waaaaay over the top. 3"+ in diameter and firey. I will grab a photo tomorrow. Any thoughts on what to do with them? They are hotter than I can handle! The pigs wont even eat them.

I'll bet they'd be a great addition to Kimchi if you're into lactic ferments.

Fermenting usually intensifies heat . . .

Yeah OG, lactic ferments and me dont live on the same planet and I ferment alot of things. Oh I take that back....a nice ground pork with a lactic ferment rocks!

Who would ferment rocks?

Maybe if you soak the radishes in water for a day or two once they are sliced?

Or I read roasting radishes is supposed to make them more mellow and less spicy.

Or maybe soak in water, then add some sugar or maple and try roasting them?
