So glad this was shared. Karen is amazing and what she is doing to change things is amazing. The entire community in Parkdale boundary - the schools, clubs and businesses have really come together because of her. Other neighbourhood foodbanks are taking notice and looking to implement some changes as well.

More than a few Ottawa Foodies on here are helping Karen to make her dream a reality.

There will be some exciting events in the new year that will be open to everyone and go towards supporting the Parkdale food centre. I'll share them here as we work out the details. :)

You get a family profile and buy gifts and Xmas dinner for them. We also bought warm winter clothing too. In a house full of boys my wife enjoyed the opportunity to buy for little girls for a change :-)
