baklava (looking for good one) [General]

Hey, checked out the listing on here for baklava only two places listed, wondering if anyone knows of any other ones that have great baklava, preferably with pistachios.

Thanks

The most memorable Baklava I have had at a restaurant was at Theo's Greek Taverna on Richmond.

For the bakery type, the ones at the lebanese bakery in the Glebe are really good (I forget the name of it).

I agree, the lebanese bakery in the Glebe is really good (I also can't remember name)

I believe it's called La Brioche, the one in the Glebe... though I've never been a major fan of the lebanese style baklava...

There was also a little Lebanese bakery in Barrhaven at the corner of Cedarview and Kennevale, which sold top notch baklava. This was when I lived near there, ten years ago. ;-)

The one in the Glebe is my other vote, too.

Dredging up an old topic I know, but I saw this on eGullet today and thought it should be seen.

ignore any references to using margarine...it's a terrible thing to do to phyllo dough, otherwise it looks good

That last post induced immediate Pavlovian drool response with me.
