ottawa foodies

My wife really wants takoyaki (octopus balls). She feels the only place to get them are in Vancouver or Japan. Anyone know or heard of a place in Ottawa that makes takoyaki? Not frozen, has to be fresh. Any info would help. Thanks!

I've only had takoyaki in Japan and at a couple of Japanese cultural events in Ottawa. Here is a link to a takoyaki machine for sale, so you could make your own if you are inspired.

Oh yes. We have seen a few machines on eBay. I guess we may have to buy one. And I guess we may have to check out the Japanese events.

I haven't seen any in Ottawa, unfortunately. Only the frozen stuff @ T&T :(

according to reviews it looks like Taste Ramen+Fusion has takoyaki on their menu. haven't tried it myself.

Nippon Sushi has Takoyaki and it is very good.
