Looks like it is going to be one busy month... LOL, thankfully, there is almost no overlap of dates, so I should be able to get to quite a few of them. Anyone else planning to attend?

EDIT - These of course are the Annual Events... if anyone wants to add other Foodie Events please tag-on to this Topic as well (one stop shopping).

While not September the Rendez-vous des saveurs de l'Outaouais is coming up in October. Always a good time. I have gone for several years and would highly recommend it:

Currently they only have 2008 up on their website but the City of Ottawa had the following information (app01.ottawa.ca)

MedicineJar - Thanks for the info... as part of my ongoing updates of the OF Events Wiki... I've been watching the Rendez-Vous des Saveurs de l'Outaouais Website... but to no avail. I was beginning to wonder what happened to them for 2009. Good to hear the event is still on the calendar.

EDIT - Of course the fact that their Website isn't current (when the info is getting out there) is a HUGE oversight / faux pas on their part.

Ahhh, thank you Food&Think! I had heard rumours that the Rendez-Vous had moved in with another event like the Feux du Casino, but I guess it only moved to the Casino. Good thing, it was getting rather crowded in the Maison du Citoyen. It's still one of my fave events of the year - for $30 I pig out on extremely good cuisines - or realise I don't want to make any trips to a particular restaurant or two as they're not my thing. (And that's where I get the Signature Dommaine Pinnacle ice cider. Maybe two bottles this year. And all the great products in the Terroir room...)

As for September, I'll look at what this Feast of the Fields is, since I'll be in Toronto that day (albeit busy seeing a friend then transiting to Pacific Mall and back, which will take several hours alone). **EDIT:** Or not. Seems Feast of the Fields is only in Kortright, 10min North of Toronto. (Plus costs $100 to go in...) If there's a TO-centric event, I can't find any information - I did find the one for Ottawa at Vincent Massey Park.

La Vendemmia, on the other hand, could be fun. I need to know more about Preston street... Would the restaurants honour reservations for 1, however? Considering they will want to accomodate a lot of guests, they might not want to have a setting go unused. (The perils of never having any friends with enough money to go out to dinner with me.)
