Buzz is usually reviews on restaurants and foods, forum is where we talk about anything else.

I'm not too sure how I would beer can a duck, I would think you'll need a drip pan for the amounts of fat coming out...

Hi Canadian Bacon (love your choice of user name BTW).
Thanks for posting the info on Brome Ducks, I know they were a topic of conversation earlier this summer.

There are a couple of BGE owners here, as well as some avid smokers so they may have some feedback to help you out.

Also,

You can always PREVIEW a post before you SUBMIT it. You can EDIT or DELETE any post until such time as some one comments after you (as long as you are last in the thread).

VENDOR / FOOD Pages - You can vote "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down", everyone gets one vote. You can change your vote at any time (ie from Thumbs Up back to Netural, or to Thumbs Down). There also is a "Star" and a "Push Pin"... the "Star" means it is one of your FAVOURITE things, it will change colour to Yellow when activated (again you can change it back to Neutral if you so wish). The "Push Pin" means it is something TO TRY and will change to Red when activated (like the others you can deactivate it). When either of these are active, they show up on your PROFILE PAGE as Favourite Foods / Favourite Vendors or on your List of Things "To Try".

NEW VENDORS (or FOODS) can be added. VENDORS are marked UNAPPROVED until they are verified (name, address, website info, etc) by the WebMaster (Fresh Foodie)... the one who created a NEW VENDOR can EDIT the entry until such time as the NEW VENDOR is either APPROVED or a REVIEW is submitted.

Yeah, I'm very curious about the results that a beer can duck would net - as tre mentioned, duck is very very fatty - much more than chicken- so you could end up with a lot of flare-ups resulting in a charred duck if you're not careful. I'd also be concerned about cooking time since duck legs are very tough and require a fairly long cooking process to become tender - much longer than chicken. That being said BBQ duck is a popular dish in many cultures so it obviously CAN be done, I would think you'd have to research the best way to do it for optimum results. Hmmmmmm...
