Carp Fair vs. Farmers Market [Events]

Captain C - I'm a big fan of the Carp Fair! I'll be there for the Heavy Horse Hitch Show on the Sunday (starts at 11 AM and runs the rest of the day). It is really cool, they start out with a one horse cart (they even have a costumed ladies class) and work their way up to a full-blown 8 Horse Hitch. Last year's show was amazing... they had over a dozen entries in the last class. They had to divide it in two... it really is something to see all that "horse power" in the ring at one time (and a little scary too). The drivers really are skilled professionals!

Yaaaaaaaaaay Carp Fair!
I remember going as a child and taking my kids last year was pretty cool. We've all been looking forward to it happening this year.
GAH about April Wine! I heard the show in bits from my house when they played Canada Day so I'm glad to hear I have a chance of seeing them. Sounds like a babysitter night.
