The Pizza Nazi [Food/Vendor]
2008 Oct 18
Dude, I worked in that store as a delivery driver for like 5 hours, it was the most horrid place i have ever encountered. I have geniuenly seen junk yards and garages that are cleaner and more organized than this store. I am not an angry ex-employee that's bad mouthing this place, but I assure you, dipping your pizza in a toilet then eating it would be as clean if not cleaner than when it comes out of the oven. I have no idea how they pass inspection. Of course that was a year ago, but I wouldn't come near that place no matter what.
ps. sorry for bumping an old thread, was searching for good crepes vendors and stumbled in here for some reason, gotta work on my searching skills :P

When an hour and ten minutes had gone by, we decided to call back to find out if there was a problem. My girlfriend spoke to the same man who had taken the order and mentioned that it was now thirty minutes later than we had expected, only to be told that the order wasn't even prepared yet. He then started to yell at her telling her that she should have expected lasagna to take at least an hour to prepare (I've never waited that long for lasagna at "any" restaurant). When she seemed incredulous at his suggestion, he hung up.
I immediately called back and, in the calmest manner possible, mentioned who I was, but before I could get any further, he slammed the phone down on me as well.
I decided that the owner of such an establishment couldn't possibly condone such rude service and decided to call back and speak to them. When I called back, the same man answered and, when I asked to speak to the owner, screamed through the phone, "I am the f***ing owner!" and proceeded to come completely unhinged. He hurled every obscenity, insult and "threat" he could, at a volume so incredibly loud that I thought he might suffer a thrombosis in his brain. I can only imagine what anyone within earshot of the restaurant might have been subjected to.
Now, I am being completely honest and sincere when I say that no one here said or did "anything" to warrant such a reaction (not that anything should warrant such behaviour). Even if I were to acknowledge that he might have been having a bad day, nothing excuses making threats to a family you are supposed to be serving, including the three-year old girl for whom the lasagna had been ordered.
More than just deciding that I will never do business with such a tyrant again, I implore everyone in this city to boycott this establishment and send a strong message that such unprofessional and intimidating behaviour will not be tolerated.
