I see all the comments on this page are from me! ;-) On my first visit this season, food is YUM explained that they've improved their bacon. Yes they have, it is thicker and tastier and that makes a huge difference! Now I was able to taste bacon in every bite and even the cheese seemed more generous. The "Whistle" has been reinstated!

Full disclosure: I was given a free upgrade from regular to whistle dog in recognition of the feedback I gave last season.

I was excited to try the Whistle Dog here, and may have set my expectations too high. It's a nice big hot dog, but at $4.50 ($2 more than the non-whistle jumbo dog) it didn't have enough "whistle." The flavour of the bacon didn't really come through, and the wiener seemed to have been deep fried but was unexpectedly non-greasy -- almost dry. Still, worth a try if you're a fan of bacon-cheese dogs.
