I agree with Mauve Danger, this is another enjoyable restaurant in Manotick. We have eaten here about 10 times and the food is quite tasty.

The decor has recently been updated and is less drafty now (an original building on Main street). I would describe the decor as cosy. They have the traditional tablecloths and bright colors and some of the original beam work is exposed.

Wonderful bread usually served with balsamic or sundried tomatoe dipping. I have enjoyed everything I ordered. Nice selection of apps. Carpacchio is very decent - not the best in town but good. Fresh calamari. Lots of sauce on the vitello marsala and picatta and one of my favorite places for these items. You get a choice of fettuccine or roast vegs and potatoes as a side. Dinner w 2 apps, 2 mains, 1/2 L red, 2 capps and one dessert is usually $70-100 before tip, so very reasonable.

This is not modern cooking. It is a cosy, fairly quiet, slightly romantic place to go as 2 or with friends for traditional Italian. BTW - it has the BEST tiramisu in the city!

I'm from Manotick so there might be a slight bias, but I've eaten at Oggi's a number of times and I've always enjoyed it. I'm a student so it can be a little pricey for me, but I usually go for lunch.

I've never been disappointed with anything on the menu and the staff are very friendly and professional. The owner is a character and makes it a fun place to revisit.
