Was here the other day. Had an amazing salad of lobster, crab meat, mango, figs and a ciliantro vinagrette dressing. Perfect for some light food, and the warm weather over the last few days. It was an appetizer, but it was a full plate and $7.
Highly recommended!
I went to Flipper's with my husband a few weeks ago. It was our first visit there and I would certainly go back.
Even on a Sunday, they had an excellent selection on entrees and the fish was fresh and delicious. We started with the crab cakes, which were the best I have had in this city. For dinner, I had the pan seared pickeral and my partner had the maple glazed salmon. Both were amazing.
Our server was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy and cluttered with neat nautical stuff.
Just had dinner there this evening. Excellent, excellent mussels (PEI mussels, leek&cream sauce); fantastic mahi mahi (fish of the day) with lemon/ginger sauce; excellent atlantic salmon special. Small but respectable selection of wines by the glass, half litre, or bottle. Relaxed ambiance, attentive service, very reasonably priced.
Dinner for two with two appetizers, two mains, and three glasses of wine (more food than we could eat), was <$100 before tip.
