Finally went for a Saturday lunch buffet. Not a huge selection of items but good quality. Also, at least at time of posting, they list their buffet items on their Facebook page so you can see if you're interested or not.
Buttered naan and poori brought to your table.
The beef nihari was sooooo good. It was so tender and lots of delicious bits like tendon and such. Shame it's not on a regular menu but it's fair since it's a slow-cooked dish that may or may not sell so having it at the buffet makes sense.
Vegetable pakora, chicken tika masala, palak paneer were great. Curries are nice and thick, not watery or anything.
Chicken pulao was good except there were some whole peppercorns. Not a fan. But there were plenty of other carbs to feast on.
Finished the meal off with some gulab jamun and kheer (with shaved almonds!).
Delicious.
Overall, a nice addition to Orleans. I haven't tried take-out so can't comment on that but I will definitely see if I can make it out to the buffet if they have that beef nihari again.
