Salt and Pepper Shrimp Meal ($9.25+tax) with broccoli and fried noodle. You get to choose either broccoli or eggplant and between steamed rice, fried rice, or fried noodle.

I just love having this option near my workplace. Salt and pepper shrimp is a great choice but only if you like to eat the crispy shells. I can't imagine going to the trouble of shelling them.

Got the tasty and filling Singapore noodles ($14.00, including soft drink and tip). 8 medium-small shrimp were buried underneath the mound of noodles and veg. The food here is good, but like all Ottawa Chinese restaurants, isn't as finely prepared as in certain places in the Toronto and Vancouver areas. The service was kind and the place is still clean, but it was sadly empty during my Saturday noon hour visit.

I second everyone that said that it is an interesting food court type restaurant. The place is big and has comfortable seating.

The food is very good quality food court food. The stir fry beef rice noodles is really well done. The best dish among those we tried. The Singapore rice noodle was nice. Their noodles are of good quality. The wonton noodle soup was good and came with lots of vegetables. The wonton was more pork than shrimp, so not traditional Chinese but it was still tasty. One person in our party had the steamed chicken with eggplant and tofu on rice. It's a steal for $8.95. Definitely great lunch options.

A couple of us had the Hong Kong style milk tea and one had the strawberry bubble tea. Everyone loved their drinks.

The service is very attentive too. We will definitely be back!

Choose make your own meal with 2 meats..

Had fried noodles, tofu and eggplant, black pepper beef and braised beef brisket.

Tofu and eggplant could have used a kick of spice or chilli oil but an decent option vs broccoli which I am not s big fan of. The black pepper beef was decent but would have prefer slightly longer cook on the onion. Brisket could have been braised longer since it is still a bit chewy than melt in your mouth.

I think I would go with beef with rice noodle, pad Thai or single item combo if I go again but at 10.85$ i may just go for the beef noodle soup at la Noodle and warch the show.

Been here a few times for their set lunches and fried noodles. The quality of food has risen significantly (e.g. broccoli is cooked through, beef is not rubbery, and rice is not clumpy any more like it was when the place started out).

I will 2nd that the beef chow fun is a good option here, and has a delicious wok hei flavour.

The stir fried rice noodle with beef (aka beef chow fun) was about $12 and was a tasty and satisfying lunch that I would seek out again at the drop of a hat!

Got the delicious curry beef combo on my 2nd visit; the sauce wasn't watered down and had a good kick of chili heat. The General Tao chicken that I tried on my 1st visit was good as well, with ultra-crispy battered chicken chunks bathed in a sauce with strong flavours of caramelized sugar and black vinegar. The place is clean and spacious, and the service is kind.

This place is a pretty typical example of the better Chinese food court places one can find in the Vancouver and Toronto areas (although it isn't located in a food court), and serves a mix of Cantonese and Gweilo dishes along with Pad Thai. I've been here twice at noon on Saturdays and it was pretty dead both times, but I hope it'll be open long enough so I can try everything on the menu!

Fried noodle combo with spicy chicken and broccoli. I think it was $8.75. You can choose noodle or rice, broccoli or eggplant, and then one of a good list of meat dishes. I went with the spicy chicken and was very happy with how it tasted. More restrictive diners might appreciate a warning that the chicken was deep fried (but not battered).

Again, as an alternative to mall food court fare I would totally have this again!
