Having had such a happy eating experience the last time we were here, we came back today for a late lunch. I had the Cod à la Meunière which came with ratatouille sweet potato. This was the freshest tasting, best prepared fish I have had anywhere in a very long time. I was told the fish was caught Thursday night and supplied by Lapointe's. The dish was tremendous value at $8.00. DH had the hamburger with cheese and bacon. It was served with deep fried potato wedges and was served on ciabatta (looked to be from Art-Is-An). He said he figured the patty was 8 ounces or close to it and said he thoroughly enjoyed it. It was the same price as mine - $8.00. If you haven't been, I encourage you to go. The food is prepared from scratch and to order and it is excellent value especially considering the quality of the food. Pictured here is the hamburger plate.
Following Peter Hum's review in The Citizen, we decided to stop by here around noon today. DH had the pansit bihon and I had the breakfast. His dish had a generous amount of chicken and several nice plump shrimp and he pronounced it very good. It came with a very good spring roll. The breakfast I had consisted of two fried eggs, 4 slices of bacon, plank type home made fried potatoes and a croissant which came with homemade jam. I also had a mango-orange juice. His dish cost $8, mine was $7. I think the croissant came from Art-Is-An, and it was delicious. The food is well prepared, fresh and inexpensive to boot. Pictured here is the breakfast, shown without the croissant.
