While there has always been breakfast options such as a breakfast panini, Biscotti just hired a new chef who is offering a new, small, but impressive breakfast menu. It has the eggs Benedict, a waffle, a mushroom tart, frittata, a breakfast sandwich and an oatmeal bowl.

The fruits and vegetables are from Juniper Farm, an organic farm in Wakefield. The food is prepared with care and the prices reasonable (e.g., eggs benedict are $12). We tried the eggs benedict, the waffle covered in fresh cream and orange peel shavings and an English muffin breakfast sandwich. We ate every single bite in a state of extreme happiness. Definitely, check it out!

Biscotti & Cie is a coffee, paninis and dessert place in Old Chelsea housed in a cute little red house, not far from the visitors' centre. It is owned by the same people who own Chelsea Pub.

I have tried a couple of panini sandwiches over the last year and thought they were above average (within the National Capital Region).

The desserts have consistently been very good too. They used to offer more cakes (which are the same cakes that are served over at the Chelsea Pub) but seem to have moved to more tartelette options lately. The biscotti is also very flavourful. Not a biscotti connaisseur myself but their biscotti is a bit softer with the natural flavours coming through (e.g., soft, chewy dates). This, as opposed to the harder biscotti served at other places with a lot of artificial flavouring.

It's a decent spot for a small bite and coffee with very nice surroundings and free wifi. In the warmer months, the patio is open and the yard also has patio tables and a cabin for kids to play in.

Biscotti got a new chef and are now serving brunch. The eggs Benedict plate was just perfect. The eggs Benedict came with a beautiful ham. It was juicy and tender. The potatoes were hand made in a skillet. The salad and potatoes were vegetables from Juniper farm in Wakefield. Really fresh and complimentary to the eggs Benedict in terms of flavours. This plate was only $12!
