Wednesday, 30/11/13 we joined in the Greystone Grill's local, in-season fall locavore dinner, that they do four times a year (each season). Amazing! We tried a little of everything offered on the menu: salad, pasta, main and dessert. The elk tenderloin was perfect and its wild mushroom and port reduction sauce was to die for! Their next locavore event, the Greystone Locavore Winter Fête, will be Wednesday (always on Wednesdays) 26 February 2014 at 6PM. Reservations can be made at 613-832-0009. We are going!

Went for dinner tonight. As always, everything was excellent. I had the tourtiere and my wife had elk in a red wine and mushroom reduction.
An amazing dinner at a very good price. Only 20 minutes from March Rd. Kanata and well worth the trip.

My daughter and I came up to visit friends and we had dinner at the Greystone. Awesome experience. Warm friendly atmosphere run by a nice family. The chef even came out to talk everyone individually. I had beef tenderloin medallions in a port wine reduction that was to die for. My daughter had chicken brochettes with Greek salad and our friends had fresh Ashton beer battered fish and chips that they swear by as the best they've ever had. We started with mussels in white wine and finished with creme brûlée. It was only a 30 minute drive from Kanata and exceptional value. We will be back.

My name is Darryl MacDougall, I am the Chef-owner of The Greystone Grill in Constance Bay. We offer an all from scratch family style menu featuring an all day breakfast, fresh made pastas and dry aged in house steaks.
I was classically trained at The Windsor Arms in Toronto and have owned several restaurants across Ontario since the early 90's.
We would like to invite the foodies of Ottawa to take a leisurely drive west of Kanata with the spectacular views of The Ottawa River and the Gatineau Park mountains.

Really good breakfast with all the usual items. Very good bacon and sausage. They also have excellent omelets and make their own sauce for the eggs Benedict. Really friendly staff and a nice family environment
