Foods from Colonnade Rd Pizza

I knew Colonnade Road Pizza was there, but I had never seen any advertising for it. I finally decided to drop by and pick up a menu yesterday after work.

I am guessing their business is mostly delivery because the place is hideous. It's like walking into an abandoned small office furnished with a couple freezers, an industrial mixer and a table and a couple chairs. There is no take out counter space because the cash register and the computer take up all the space. There is, however, a pizza oven in the back room.

We always order vegetarian pizzas, so I cannot comment on the meats, but I can say there are more meat topping options than non-meat.

I don't care about all the stuff i've written about so far; if the pizza is good, that's all that matters. The pizzas taste good, however they fell short on a couple things. Like I said, we order vegetarian pizzas, and olives on only one of the two, but somehow the pizzas were very salty. The cheese was good, but I believe that's where the saltiness came from. The crust was nice and crispy and tasted good, however it was very doughy and unpleasant to eat. It reminded me of par-baked bread that you bake at home. These pizzas are heavy... Four slices made me stuffed well into the night.

I guess they can keep the cost down by not having to maintain a retail store. At $23 + tax for twin mediums, the price is better than average, but unfortunately the final product falls short of my standards.
