This restaurant is out of business.

This location is were local heroes used to be, very classy, elegant and contemporary. I must agree with reviews on other board the place is stunning. I decided to tried after finding the were nominated as the best new steakhouse. So I decide to come in with my work crew. I found prices very reasonable and the food had a great flavor. I will be back for sure.

I want to come back at night time when they do have their dj at the patio.

This Place is very nice looking on the inside, but I'm afraid it did not take away from the fact that the food and service in this steakhouse is absolutely TERRIBLE.
Will NOT be returning. Don't waste your money, there are plenty of great places in Kanata that ARE worth it.

CCJ's is in the former local heros location in Kanata (off carling). It doesn't look like much from the outside, but they have completely redone in the interior. Its very nice and classy.

We went for a staff lunch, and the place was pretty empty. The menu has a bunch of latin/Brazilian options focusing on meat. The lunch menu had the standard burger/chicken burger/wraps. The concensus around the table was the food was ok - not standout, not bad. I had the mussels which were ok - a good size, but I think the broth needed some work. (there were 3 or 4 choices of broth, I had beer and garlic). Other peoples sides of either caesar salad or fries, looked really good.

Overall its a nice step up from other restaurants in the area, I would like to try it for supper some time.
