Still at the Carp Farmers Market, after 21 years.

Had her Pad Thai - Larb combo. Served up by her grand-daughters. Larb is the national dish of Laos where Malivanh has immigrated from.

Both dishes were tasty and had a balance of flavours with the pop of fresh mint and a squeezer of fresh lime. Portions was quite generous.

I thought the rice may have been a bit soft but was reassured by Malivanh that her jasmine scented rice it is traditionally served softer than Chinese rice. I really appreciated the education.

She was a delight to talk with and I'll be back to visit with her again.
