Caesars diner is the best in the whole world, i like their fruit plate and their potatoes and their sausages and eggs, my sister really likes it too.

I've been back here several times, and I'm always a little sad that I don't see it busy more often. The food is always excellent. Creme caramel is offered on the desert menu, which I always mean to try, but I'm not a heavy enough eater to get to deserts very often. On the Lunar new year the owner had a party here, free lunch provided, very generous.

This place just opened today, as I noticed as I was walking by on my way to do my grocery shopping. This is the fourth business here in as many years, and I've been going to whatever diner was in this spot for as long. I'm hoping this one lasts a while longer than the previous ones. Service is very friendly. I got fresh fruit added to my breakfast for free because it was my first time there.

The menu is mostly your standard diner fare, breakfasts (including waffles), sandwiches, pasta, and with a variety of Lebanese food thrown in because this is Ottawa. Prices are good, I shall have to explore the menu.

I had French toast with fresh fruit and baked beans for a late breakfast. Presentation was much better than I would expect at a diner, with nice dishes and a good dusting of cinnamon. It was well cooked, not too soggy in the middle which can be a problem sometimes, and very good. The beans were not as thick as I'm used to, but still good nonetheless.

The burgers here are pretty good, certainly better than anything you'd get at a fast food joint, but not spectacular. The first time I had one, it tasted as if made with kafta meat, very savory, but the second time (while the usual cook was out, admitedly) wasn't quite as nice.

The fries are always excellent, though. Fresh, thick and golden brown. Burger platter also comes with a bit of slaw, of the non-mayonaisey variety. Good stuff.

I had the shish kafta here, and was suitably impressed. The meat wasn't overcooked, was flavourful and moist. Came on a bed of rice, nice and fluffy, as well as a side of salad and some hummus, which I usually don't like but enjoyed with this.
