Hi! No problem, there are still few enough users here that I have plenty of time to answer questions. ;-) To add a comment for a specific vendor, you're right that you could just type its name in the search field. To see a list of all places that have reviews you could click "tags" in the navigation bar at the top of the page and then choose the "Eating" tag. This will show you ALL restaurants and how many comments they have.
The way to track reviews as they happen is via the "buzz" button on the navigation bar. It will show you new comments until you mark them all as read, after which it will show you all comments in reverse order (most recent first).
