Kashi Products [General]

Quite a few new Kashi products coming out lately. After trying the original cereal Kashi Go Lean over a year ago, and personally hating it, too mushy, too bland... I watched Unwrapped or something on TV where they were showing the factory and showed them making the GO Lean Crunch, when it went on sale a few weeks ago I bought it, and really like it, it doesn't get mushy...although sometimes I mix a tiny bit of sweeter cereal in it. (Or put a packet of my fake sugar (Stevia) to sweeten it up a bit. I tried two kinds of their cereal bars.. first was the Cherry Dark Chocolate, which has only 8g of sugar which hopefully is in part to the Cherries (I don't mind sugar from fruit)... I was just about to say better than the Quaker ones but just looked and they have 8g of sugar too so ... Next I tried the Grains and Almonds, which isn't quite as good as the cherry/choc ones but still pretty hearty and just have a slightly bland overall taste~but I would probably buy again. I also like the fiber and protein which is Usually about 4g fiber and 5g protein. Whereas the Quaker ones are 1g protein and 1g fiber, which sucks. Also noticed on their website they have a pizza coming out which should be interesting.

If anyone knows a relative or something in the states that they can get stuff shipped to I noticed off the Quaker site, there is an online store (US shipping only) that you can buy hard to find Quaker products such as Aunt Jemima AJ Buckwheat Pancake Mix, Hot Cereals: Crystal Wedding Oats, different Grits, Cereals Ready-to-Eat Cereals: King Vitamin Kretschmer Toasted Wheat Bran, Quisp. I WISH I knew someone I could get stuff shipped to... I had a US mailing address before what a hassle and expensive, really expensive!

Superstore recently started carrying 3 different Kashi granola bars in the organic section (or near their organic section at least)

I never liked the one breakfast cereal I tried but do like the hot cereal.

Would love to find just plain old Kasha, though, like I used to eat in the Soviet Onion.
