Hello,

I'm making a dish that originally used anchovies, I know fish sauce is used as a replacement. However,
one of my guests is allergic. Does anyone know where I could find vegan fish sauce?

Bottled vegan fish sauces are mostly tamari and rice vinegar. You could easily make your own or just use soy since vegan fish sauce tastes nothing like fish sauce at all. Otherwise, try Whole Foods or Herb and Spice.

If there is no steak in steak sauce, why is there fish in fish sauce ?

And tomato sauce is nothing but tomatoes. . . . . .
