Kenji is the go to for any recipe. If I'm ever in doubt on how to cook something I check it out on the serious eats page. Changed my turkey roasting, changed my primerib cooking, I've done his sous vide brisket. All excellent techniques.

I have this and it is a great book. Heavy, though.

Serious eats is a seriously good website. I'm not much into books about cooking but this is one I'm putting in my wife's Amazon cart. 😄

Andy, if you are a Serious Eats fan and you and/or your wife like baking, Stella Parks has a book out called Brave Tart. It is new and is amazing.
