ottawa foodies

Does anyone know where I can find some fresh figs around this time of year? We're having some company over during the holidays and would love to make some some prosciutto wrapped figs. I've called a bunch of places and they are always sold out when I call or they have quote "a handful left". Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks

You can buy fresh figs at Produce Depot on Carling, ask a staffer and they'll give you a cut rate on an entire box if you're looking to have a party ;)

I tried there. Then when I got there, about two hours later, they were all out. I was bummed. I will call again and check it out tonight.
