New Years Eve [General]

2015 Nov 12
A classy subdued evening, several courses, paired wines, perhaps a jazz trio... Recommendations?

Brookstreet. Maybe.

Chateau Laurier has New Year's Eve activities, Zoe's lounge for lighter bites, Wilfrid's for larger spread.

I'm thinking of going to Divino Wine Studio for new years

4 courses with wine pairings, dancing after 10 and sparking wine at midnight

Les Fougieres?

Turns out our AirB&B will be only 10 minutes away, so we've booked Eighteen - restaurant18.com/uploads/nye%202015.pdf $75pp and $50 wine pairing. After that, maybe Brookstreet's Options Jazz Lounge if we're still awake. The Black Tomato theblacktomato.ca looks like a good lunch candidate..

Most Honourable Mentions:

Le Tartuffe letartuffe.ca/en/menus/menu-31-decembre-2015/ Looks like seriously good food.

L’Atelier atelierrestaurant.ca 6pm-9pm - $125pp 6 courses $75 pairing; 9pm on - $195/pp 15 courses $95 pairing

Thank you, everyone, for your input!

Brookstreet is awesome but it means you have to get from Eighteen in the Byward Market out to Kanata.

On New Year's Eve.

And then back again given your abnb location.

Just sayin'...

Apparently Festival Japan will be offering a five course meal on New Year's eve with sake and a glass of champagne at midnight. Brazilian and Latin music will be featured throughout the evening. More info is on their website: www.festivaljapan.ca/
