ottawa foodies

I just read about this Japanese dish of broiled fish off cuts and I am intrigued. Anyone make this or know a restaurant where it is available?

The French have a dish of boiled fish heads. www.whats4eats.com The fish head would be considered an off cut in France, but in Asia the fish head is a prime cut.

The NYT magazine was where I saw it but I can't find anyon who serves it.

This is Ottawa. If you just saw it in the NYT, it'll get here in about 5 years.

Easy to make though; all you need is salt.

It's one of those dishes that I would like served to me by someone in the know the first time.
