All natural cold water detergent [General]

2015 Jan 11
I have run out of my supply of cold water detergent. Any recommendations on an all natural cold water detergent? Sorry if I am a bit off topic but it will need to work well on food stains :-)

Good luck-lots of cold water detergents available but they may not work on food stains (especially "grease" based stains). If it is a vegetable (like tomato or carrot) hang it out in sunshine and it should disappear)

There are sticks you can buy at the Extraordinary Baby Shopppe that you rub into a stain and let it sit for a while, then wash it. I've gotten some pretty nasty long-term stains out of garments with it.

It is probably all natural given that they sell it. They also have some all natural detergents like Nellie's. That's all we use for all of our laundry. We use it in cold water just fine. If it cleans baby shit it will clean anything else you can throw at it :-)

The stain stick is by Buncha Farmers. It will get out set in grease stains that are years old and have been through the dryer.

don't ask me how I know. ;)
