Foodies fooled! [General]

Considering how much effort McDonald's puts into giving their food attributes that appeal to the masses, is it really a surprise that people like it? Anything less would be dismal failure on their part.
Even more hilarious is that Penn & Teller clip where they served people tap water in a fancy environment and asked for their opinions... via Forum - Bottled water is a scam (WARNING: coarse language)

True, tourist... good people are easy to fool. I'd rather share the company of a gullible person than that of a person who takes advantage of that trust.
I'm proudly gullible about things that don't really matter. If someone tells me I'm eating a fancy organic food product, I'll happily believe them. My mistrust only appears when safety or money are at stake. So I'll taste it but I probably won't buy it. :)

One should also be cynical enough to know that editing can be used to prove just about any point. If just as many people said "It's fine, but it tastes like McDonald's" you know that wouldn't make it to the final video.
The video I have no problem with, I don't speak Dutch, but it seems pretty funny. I'm not sure what the mic.com article is trying to say; the author seems as gullible as the people he is making fun of.
