Sorry if this is off topic but I am looking for a good, all natural cold water detergent. Or a recipe for a home made cold water concoction. Thx.

Does it make a difference whether it's for dishes or clothes? Just curious..

Thanks FF for your curiousity. My experience of washing my dishes and clothes simultaneously has been a disaster ;-). I was looking for advice on laundry detergent.

Detergent for dishwashers are stronger, less foaming, and have bleach in them.

For really dirty clothes you can add a dishwasher detergent cube to your laundry wash, but be careful as the bleach might damage the colors. For whites, it would be fine.

We tend to do all our laundry in cold liquid. The real secret is the liquid detergent. The problem with powder is that it just doesn't dissolve as well in cold water. The Dragonlady swears by Sunlight.
