Next day lunch purchases [General]

How long will you have for lunch? If you get a full hour, heading over to the market will be feasible but abit of a walk - maybe 10 minutes or so? If so I can recommend a few places.
If you are really strapped for time I could recommend the Portuguese Bakery on Nelson just north of Clarence. Just south of the school there is a huge Loblaws grocery store with a take-out counter near the entrance. It's not exactly a foodie destination but close by if you are tight for time. There is also a Rideau Bakery across the street from Loblaws and they have a lunch counter.

Since that is such a short time, there is also an Ethiopian restaurant - Habesha that also does take out - phone ahead to put in your order or speak to them about their offerings. Very tasty food. It is at 574 Rideau St. (walk up Coburg St. to Rideau). You could then walk west along Rideau to Nelson St (head north on Nelson) and stop at either Auntie Loo's (112 Nelson, 101C) (vegan bakery) or the Portuguese bakery (48 Nelson St) for another treat for then or later. You are on your way back to the school.

I'll be in Ottawa this weekend for Unison Festival. I have tight schedules on Saturday and Sunday and will be stuck at Ecole Secondaire Publique De La Salle from 9am to 3pm.
I was thinking of buying something for lunch to eat cold or reheat the next day. Do you have suggestions? I'm looking through the Byward market reviews right now.
