The A&P on McCarthy Rd (Hunt Club area) has just finished renovating... and they have stocked their shelves with some new stuff!

Pleasantly surprised, I found Soup Nazi's (a la Seinfeld) soup!! Yeah, expensive, but I really am fond of the seafood bisque...

Also, they now have sushi from Chef Bento! A couple of my friends had sushi at that restaurant and recommended it. Aside from sushi, Chef Bento also packages the seaweed salad in little plastic containers too, along with wasabi, ginger, and various other concoctions.

On top of that, A&P now carries bread from Premiere Moisson! Yum. Now I have an option of either going to Loblaws to get Ace Bakery bread, or Premiere Moisson at A&P.

Farm Boy (p. ex. at Blue Heron Mall) carries Premiere Moisson as well, although I prefer Ace's baguettes (Nicastros on Merivale now sells frozen Ace demi-baguettes you can heat up at home).

I guess I have not been to that A&P for awhile - I didn't even know they were renovating. I must stop in to check it out!

It's not surprising that A&P locally is carrying Premiere Moisson. Loeb, which has the same owners as A&P Canada, also carries it, but only the large round pre-sliced loaves.

I'm surprised that they didn't rebrand the A&P as a Loeb since it's the only A&P in Ottawa.
